Job Title: Survey CAD Project Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret planimetric and design plans, profiles and cross sections, utility records, etc.
- Develop utility drawings that are complete, accurate and organized for rural and urban environments while following client standards and expectations
- Coordinate survey work in relation with survey utility engineering
- Processing of daily field survey data using Microstation and/or AutoCAD to develop finished survey drawings
- Development of 3D digital terrain models, based on field data, to be used for engineering design, utilizing InRoads/OpenRoads and similar software.
- Become familiar with CAD standards of various government agencies (i.e. GDOT) to make sure finished survey drawings are in compliance with standards.
- Occasional assistance in the field to confirm finished drawings are representative of field conditions and to further skills toward becoming a registered land surveyor.
- This position requires 80% of in-office work and 20% in-field
Education/Experience:
- Associate Degree in Technical Drafting (Preferred) or Comparable 4 Year Degree
- Must have at least 2-4 years of experience working with AutoCAD
- Must have at least 2-4 years of experience working with MicroStation
- Must possess general knowledge of geophysical equipment, survey and project field documentation, and vacuum excavation tactics to expose utilities
- Must have project management and survey experience
- Experience with Survey and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred
- Experience with GIS platforms is desirable
- GDOT experience in procedures and deliverable requirements is advantageous.
