  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Surveillance Department.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on surveillance equipment. Included, but not limited to, cleaning of cameras, domes and housing, as well as digital surveillance equipment.
  • Performs camera moves and installation to support gaming equipment requirements.
  • Performs wire pulls in conjunction with surveillance equipment installation.
  • Will assist outside technicians with surveillance equipment installation and service.
  • Will report on condition and inventory of all surveillance equipment on hand.
  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
  • Any and all duties as assigned by your Director or a member of management.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous casino surveillance experience preferred.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
  • Basic knowledge of casino operations, and casino games. Thorough knowledge of MGC gaming regulations relating to CCTV requirements within the casino.  Thorough knowledge of surveillance equipment.  Working knowledge of basic electronics. 
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The team member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
