We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Surveillance Tech. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Surveillance Tech works with the technician team to maintain the repair, installation and preventative maintenance of all the cameras and equipment throughout the property. Always presents a friendly and professional image at Oaklawn. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

- Perform daily maintenance and inspection of monitors, diagnostics, cameras and keyboards
- Maintain a complete inventory of equipment and parts on hand
- Provide status reports of equipment and repairs
- Install monitors, cameras and equipment
- Assure that all equipment is in compliance with State regulations
- Notifies the technician team and director of any equipment malfunctions and also documents a list of equipment or parts needed in a timely manner.
- May be called back to work in an emergency situation
- Must maintain confidentiality of all department activities
- Business needs dictate scheduling
- Acts proactively to ensure there is no down time in surveillance
- Repairs malfunctioning equipment
- Maintains an attitude & philosophy consistent with the company Core Values and Standards of Behavior with internal & external guests
- Punctual attendance required
- Ability to work required overtime.
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of networking, active directory and TCP/IP
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and within a team environment
- Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to work as a team
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional and friendly demeanor in all situations
- Ability to work in a small area
- Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- High school graduate or GED required; college grad preferred
- Casino experience preferred
- Some electronics training is preferred
- Experience in military, law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention or security is preferred
- Guest service experience is a must
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arkansas Racing License.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Oaklawn Jockey Club.
