Responsibilities:
- Monitor surveillance cameras and observe activity on the premises
- Report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain accurate records and write detailed reports of incidents
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
- Dispatch security personnel or emergency services when necessary
- Respond to alarms and investigate potential security breaches
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure security measures are in place
Skills:
- Strong report writing skills to accurately document incidents and observations
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols
- Possession of relevant surveillance operator certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Experience in dispatching security personnel or emergency services is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and diffuse potentially volatile situations
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in operating surveillance equipment and CCTV systems
As a Surveillance Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises.
