Surgical/Dental Assistant (OMS practice)

We are a growing practice are looking for motivated individuals to join our clinical team at Aspire OMS, LLC! Our practice has three locations: Merrillville, Valparaiso and Michigan City. We provide highest quality patient care in oral & maxillofacial surgery and need exceptional team members to help serve our growing patient population. Clinical team members excel at many roles and are involved in duties of direct patient care, including: patient office visits and consultations, radiology, anesthesia, and surgical procedures within the office and our affiliated hospitals. Must be able to travel to all three locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Data entry of health information and compiling of treatment plans.

• Pre- and post-operative preparations; patient instructions, instrumentation, sterilization.

• Actively assisting during surgery and monitoring of anesthesia.

• Operating radiology equipment: x-ray and CT

• Disinfect, sterilize and store equipment/instruments after use.

Recommended Skills/Certifications:

• Radiology certification.

• Basic Life Support (CPR)

• Efficient computer and typing skills.

• Prior assisting experience in dentistry or surgery.

• Willingness to learn.
