The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for two positions in the surgical pathology and Transfusion Medicine/blood bank, respectively.

Duties will include sign-out of pathology cases, and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Research activities will include any scholastic activities that pertain to the applicant’s clinical and/or academic interests. Service responsibilities will include serving on Departmental and/or University committees when needed.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a medical degree (MD or MD/PhD), be board-certified/eligible in AP, CP, or AP/CP with proper subspecialty fellowship training, and be eligible for a Louisiana Medical License.  Applicants for surgical pathology with sub-specialties in GU, GI/liver or Gynpathology will be preferentially considered.  Applicants for Transfusion Medicine should have the knowledge and experience in apheresis and stem cell collection.  J-1 visa holders are welcome to apply.
