Kettering Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Surgical Oncologist. The chosen candidate will become part of the Kettering Health Cancer Center's mission to provide advanced patient-centered care in an environment focused on healing the whole person. The position offers a unique opportunity to provide care for a diverse patient population that has the support of a highly accredited multi-specialty team with an established referral base. Job Description
- The primary work location is Kettering Health Main Campus
- Primary Services Provided: Colorectal, Sarcoma, Whipple, Liver, Breast involved but not primary
- A comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating cancer
- Gamma Knife, Radiation Oncology, PET, Kettering Breast Evaluation Center, Nurse Navigators, Integrative Medicine, Support Groups, Genetic Counseling. and more!
- Surgical support – Gynecology Oncology, Neurosurgery, Breast Surgeons
- Support Staff: MA, RN, NP, and Shared Surgery Scheduler
- Call is 1:5
- State-of-the-art equipment is accessible on-site
- Hospital-employment w/PSLF qualification
- Institutional EMR system: Epic
- Resident and medical student teaching opportunities available
Requirements
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency training program required
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited Fellowship training program in Surgical Oncology required
- Be able to obtain an Ohio medical license.
- H1B-visa support is available. Sorry, the hospital does not qualify for a J1 visa sponsorship.
