Surgery Scheduler

Must have experience as a Surgery Scheduler!

We are a freestanding, ambulatory surgery center, surgeon owned and operated.

We work M-F only, no nights, weekends or call along with a cutoff for the last patient in the PACU recovery room by 3:15 p.m. We perform ENT, cataracts, plastic surgery and dental procedures in our 5 OR facility.

We are looking for a full time Surgery Scheduler. This individual would work with the physician offices to schedule patients for surgery.

We offer a competitive package of wage and benefits as well as a productivity bonus of $3.00 per case for every case that we perform over 400 per month. We have been averaging about 525 cases a month and expect continued growth as patients learn that surgery centers are more cost effective.

Job duties include

1. Post surgical procedures.

2. Update and distribute daily surgery schedules.

3. Coordinate block times with surgeon’s offices.

4. Enter patient information/insurance information into computer system.

5. Create new patient charts.

6. Answer phones, take messages (pull corresponding patient chart as needed), and transfer calls when appropriate.

7. Assist the COO and CNO with various special projects as needed.

8. Provide relief for facility receptionist as needed.

9. Communicate with office staff regarding lens strength and needs related to cataract surgery as well as fusion CD’s

10. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
