A young woman in the Allentown area with an intellectual disability is looking for staff to assist her in gaining and maintaining independence. She would like someone who is willing to help her engage in community activities and help her with everyday skills.

The right candidate should be flexible, compassionate, creative, understanding, and willing to take on challenges when they arise. The right candidate should also enjoy exploring new and different things. They must also like dogs, as there is a dog in the home.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have driver’s license.
• Must have access to a fully registered and insured car.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Experience with individuals who have intellectual disabilities is desired but not required.

Ideal Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Hours and Pay

• $15.00 an hour
• 16 hours per week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Education:
