As a Supply Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining par supply areas such as: Ordering, stocking, replenishing, and delivering supplies to all areas of the hospital or clinic. Responsible for managing storeroom supplies, performing periodic cycle counting. The Supply Tech will be able to utilize inventory management systems and hand held devices according to policy and procedures. Responsible for checking for outdates, recall of product throughout the hospital and clinic. Must maintain a clean and organized supply area (s).
This is a part-time, benefitted position located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, availability to work varied shifts and weekends required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years supply experience
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Excellent computer skills and interpersonal skills
- Able to utilize computer systems, inventory management tools and systems, and hand held devices
- The Supply Tech will need to pass initial 90 day competency and yearly competency as it relates to the position
- High School Graduate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical supplies
