Job description

At Lakeland Bank, the Supply & Mail  Coordinator processes and handles bank mail, inventories, receives and distributes supplies and performs other responsibilities as needed.

 

This is a Temporary Assignment. We anticipate the assignment will end in May 2024.

At completion of the assignment, you may apply for other opportunities through the bank. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the handling and processing of mail from post office as well as all bank locations in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner to ensure prompt delivery (includes the processing of outgoing mail (first class, certified, metered, bulk, special delivery, etc.)
  • Responsible for creating mail reports via Excel (piece counts, transactions per week/month).
  • Responsible for maintaining a current inventory of supplies which includes notification to the purchasing administrator when stock items fall below their re-order level.
  • Places building supply/janitorial orders and works with staff on refill levels.
  • Ensures that the postage meter/account is funded to meet postage needs of the bank.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork as required by the USPS.
  • Maintains equipment and keeps work area in an orderly and clean manner.
  • Fills supply requisitions and distributes to the appropriate office via Fedex or local delivery.
  • Receives incoming supply deliveries and processes them accordingly.
  • Maintains records on supply levels and delivery schedules
  • Stocks and organizes incoming supplies.
  • Provides weekly inventory reporting using Excel.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by supervisor/purchasing administrator/management.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

  • High School Diploma required plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and procedures, write correspondence, letters and email.
  • Familiarity with US Postal Service and regulations.
  • Able to operate and maintain bank vehicle in a safe manner/valid Driver’s License
  • Self-driven and must be able to work independently / unsupervised
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record. And, must undergo an annual motor vehicle record check in order to operate company vehicles.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment, as well as annual fit-for-duty physical.
  • Machines & Equipment:
    • Pitney Bowes mail processor and related equipment, pallet jack, PC, email, internet, Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel, Automobile
