Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Manager of Supplier Quality Surveillance, the Chief Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspector and/or the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator(s). Responsible for execution of surveillance activities and the Supplier Quality Surveillance Assignment Instructions
- Notify Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator of any concerns regarding the quality performance of the supplier.
- Complete the Inspection and Test Plan by issuing supplier quality surveillance and status reports and documenting supplier conformance to requirements.
- Reviewing of surveillance documents and informing the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator if there are any issues with documents issued.
- Schedule and conduct Pre-Inspection Meetings, as established by criticality rating and Jacobs Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Regular communication with suppliers on scheduling surveillance activities as detailed in the Supplier Quality Surveillance Assignment Instructions.
- Performing random audits of suppliers QA/QC systems and programs.
- Communicate with Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinators, Engineering, Expediting, Clients, etc., regarding supplier quality surveillance activities.
- Plan travel and surveillance activities/visits to effectively utilize time and minimize expenses.
- Providing weekly itineraries listing planned activities. Itineraries shall cover a two week period.
- Maintaining the Inspection Folder.
Training and Experience:
- BA or BS, or equal, preferred
