Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard Supply Chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
This is an on-site position located in Salt Lake City, UT
Basic Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent with minimum of 2 years' experience in shipping/receiving
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy in English
- Has good communication and organizational skills
- Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Able to work cooperatively in a group environment, and adjust to changing priorities
- Can work independently to solve moderate to complex receiving problems
- Visual acuity required for close/detail work and computer use
- Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Has a working knowledge of MS Office applications; Outlook E-mail, Excel, Word, etc...
- Ability to pass forklift certification and operate heavy machinery
- Has experience with carrier software: FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc...
- Is able to work overtime when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years experience shipping/receiving
- Forklift & materials-movement equipment experience
- Previous experience with SAP
Shift Information
Northrop Grumman utilizes a 9/80 work week in which 80 hours are accumulated over the course of 9 working days in each 14-day pay period. Employees work a 36-hour week consisting of 4 days on with a 3-day weekend, followed by a 44-hour week consisting of 5 days on with a 2-day weekend. Pay periods are bi-weekly.
Salary Range: $38,600.00 - $64,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
