Working with Inventory Planning and Replenishment along with cross functional Supply Chain teams, the Supply Chain Support Specialist is a critical role in executing merchandising support for all USTHD stores. Specifically, the Supply Chain Support Specialist is responsible for the execution of ongoing merchandising support including the ongoing analysis of; process improvement, the accountability of ongoing SKU analysis down to the store SKU level and owning the solution and outcome for the store. Additional responsibilities include; various DC support functions, inventory analysis, and execution of product allocation to all stores for products procured through merchandising, both domestic and global. Analyzes data, identifies options, selects and implements solutions by considering courses of action within the framework of management's goals and standards. Organizes multiple work streams and tasks completing within expected timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- 50% Uses numerous Inventory Planning & Replenishment systems to analyze store overages/shortages down to the store SKU level; analyzes sell through rates, order frequency, and effective inventory positions against store plan to ensure proper store inventory levels. Adjusts the Central Automated Replenishment system parameters to ens
- 20% Support of multiple product allocation tools to make load modification decisions that support customer will calls, top loads, overweight issues and other DC support tasks. Maximizes cube load utilization to minimize transportation expense.
- 20% Recommending course of action through 10+ ordering systems utilizing Inventory Planning and Replenishment systems to create purchase orders via; DCs, vendor direct shipments, or vendor to Rapid Deployment Centers to ensure accurate allocations based on stores requests through the Supply Chain Support Desk.
- 10% Provides feedback and acts as a liaison between the THD Stores and THD Supply Chain to ensure appropriate issue resolution. Partners with DC Operations, Store Operations and other cross functional partners.

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge in retail, with a focus on merchandising and Supply Chain business processes, Forecast and Replenishment, Supplier Planning, Collaboration and Management
- Prior experience in working with data sets; Excel, Access, Teradata and VBA coding (macros)
- Proven experience in inventory analysis and allocation. Preferred 3+ years inventory analytics and allocation experience
