JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Support Consultant to play a key role in the development and delivery of the first Freighter Units. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills, possess a deep understanding of Supply Chain processes, and be comfortable engaging with executive leadership from both Spirit and Airbus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
- Lead and support the development and delivery of the first Freighter Units within the established timelines and budget constraints.
- Implement and oversee Supply Chain strategies to optimize efficiency and meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the Supply Chain process.
Organizational Skills:
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to manage complex Supply Chain activities and processes effectively.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined processes where necessary.
First Level Manager:
- Act in a First Level Manager capacity without personnel decision-making responsibilities.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Communication:
- Present progress updates, challenges, and solutions to executive leadership.
- Maintain clear and concise communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
Period of Performance:
- Execute tasks and responsibilities within the designated 9-12 months period, with flexibility for potential extensions based on project needs.
Travel Requirements:
- Be open to domestic and international travel, as needed, to support Supply Chain activities and ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident of the USA
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on Supply Chain development and delivery.
- Familiarity with Spirit AeroSystems processes is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
