As a Supply Chain Project Coordinator II, you will take on projects to enhance Supply Chain initiatives, which include but are not limited to international transportation, carrier relations, accounts payable, category planning, forecasting, replenishment, network planning, Supply Chain design or performance monitoring/analytics to optimize sales growth and profitability. As a Project Coordinator II on the End-to-End team you will have the opportunity to make an impact on projects and topics that provide benefits and improvements throughout the Supply Chain from assortment to in store operations. This position will be responsible for becoming a process expert in Supply Chain to contribute to project work across our national organizations. Work Location: Batavia, IL (temporarily reporting to Naperville, IL)
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
- Informs leader of status and results of assigned tasks and proactively identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
- Leads projects according to the position’s objectives upon their direct leader’s request.
- Develops and executes plans for small to medium-scale projects.
- Performs research-based projects and small to medium-scale feasibility studies.
- Assists leader in implementation and rollout of large-scale projects.
- Coordinates the involvement of multiple business stakeholders.
- Analyzes working procedures with the objective to identify best practices and improve efficiencies.
- Determines and creates the required project deliverables.
- Ensures projects remain on track and follows-up with key stakeholders as necessary.
- Delivers and facilitates timelines and project content in a confident and professional way.
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
- Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or a related field required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Business or Management required.
- Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
