The Supply Chain Project Analyst will provide key analysis on various projects, producing organized results and sound recommendations. They will serve as a liaison between IT and the business units on system’s needs, modifications, and software integrations. They will collaborate with Business Project Managers with various operational projects by helping with analysis, documentation, and research.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Analyze challenging, complex projects and present recommendations, as assigned by leadership.
Work with Supply Chain Leadership and Supply Chain Project Analysts to create reporting for high level projects and provide analysis to leadership.
Review and assess changeovers and other Supply Chain Projects. Provide recommendations on potential options and timing. Help organize, execute, and oversee these projects to successful completion.
Interface with representatives from internal cross-functional team members, as well as external suppliers in identifying opportunities for shared efficiencies, such as Kaizen and Six Sigma projects.
Help create and maintain operational process flows and documentation.
Work with Business Project Managers to help document, analyze, and design solutions for projects.
Collaborate with fellow team members and our IT partners to help define and document requirements for system needs.
Lead and guide the business portion of software implementations.
Facilitate user acceptance testing for system changes and consult with IT on regression testing and test plans.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong analytical, logical, and problem solving capabilities.
Ability to take an ill-defined problem, use different methods to analyze it and draw conclusions that can be presented back to other team members.
Ability to establish stage gates and time bound deliverables that bring value throughout the course of a project and measure success of deliverables. (apply all changes to pm and sup)
Experience with Excel, Visio, Project Management tools, and/or other tools used to analyze data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Desired:
Associate’s degree or higher in a related field
One year of related experience
SQL Knowledge
Knowledge of all processes, systems, and data in all related business units.
Experience with Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Confluence, Jira and other tools used in analysis and documentation.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
