Execution and control of Supply Chain activity for assigned products/product families, providing specialist product knowledge to the business with regard to manufacture, supply, planning, scheduling and compliance.
- Inventory procurement responsibility up to £50,000 approved financial limit
- Ownership of the short - medium term supply plan for a portfolio of products and responsible for continuity of supply and risk-management
- Performance monitoring, KPI management and escalation for assigned CMOs
- Maintenance of GDP records for assigned products/product families
- Primary point of contact for all affiliate & partner communication regarding product supply for their portfolio
- Liaison with Technical and Artwork teams for assigned products/product families
Responsibilities
Requirements planning & inventory management
- Create, amend and transact inventory purchase orders in ERP system. Manage purchase order confirmations and CMO order book
- Responsible for implementing approved artwork changes into CMO operations
- Compile lot release documentation, packing lists and other shipping requirements for provision to the Transport & Logistics team for transportation from CMOs
- KPI tracking and performance management
- Perform material obsolescence as per destruction procedure as directed by Senior Planner(s)
- Main liaison with RD CMOs on first line operational issues
- Support supply planning processes and Supply Review meetings with data input processes
- Responding to affiliate, partner, pre-wholesaler or customer enquiries and needs
- Maintenance of compliant GxP records and reports. File as per company guidelines
- Responsible for ERP and serialisation master data
- Support month end processing
- Support change control and management processes
- Support risk management strategies (CMO and market)
- Support Operational Excellence opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Software (particularly Excel) and good general IT awareness
Physical Requirements :
- Need to be able to lift a standard archive box
- As this can be a sedentary position the individual needs to be able to withstand long periods of sitting
- Ability to use VDU equipment
- A degree of flexibility needed with regards to rare occasions where working late/early might be required
