We are now hiring a Supply Chain Planner to join the team at our Covington, KY warehouse! Located at 4101 Winston Ave., Covington, KY 41015. If you're looking for long-term employment with a company you can grow with, this is the position for you!
Looking for someone who can assess our company's Supply Chain and assist in developing short- and long-term plans for improvement, as well as troubleshoot failures in the chain and respond accordingly.

Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to employment.

Pay: $22 / hour

Hours: Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

Job Overview:

  • Look at the current process of the Supply Chain to plan improvements for cutting costs, controlling and replenishing inventory, and shipping product.
  • Ensure all deliverables are readily available, delivered on time/in a cost-efficient manner, and that plans align with demand and supply.
  • Troubleshoot failures in the chain and respond effectively to unforeseen events.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and leadership to improve customer service and operational efficiency through data analysis and problem solving.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide efficient, courteous customer service through a variety of formats.
  • Resolve routine customer questions and complaints.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, warehouses, and other departments.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with other shifts, managers, and any other departments. Be responsive and timely in requests for information.
  • Create processes and methods to gather Supply Chain data. Develop server queries to provide data to management for decision making needs.
  • Plan and implement Supply Chain optimization projects.
  • Manage Quality and Inventory investigations as well as communications between customers and relevant Keller teams.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems and troubleshoot processes.
  • Track KPI’s and report on warehousing performance.
  • Lead and participate in Accident Investigation and Corrective Actions by providing systematic solutions.
  • Build and develop the customer relationship with the goal of growing a profitable long-term relationship.
  • Strategic planning of all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping and handling to achieve high level of accuracy, efficiency and avoidance of claims, through the development of operational standards.
  • Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement objectives set forth by the company. Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
  • Coordinate the setup of new item numbers and BOMs in our WMS, and make changes as needed.
  • Supervise the Quality and Inventory teams, and ensure their work is being performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Review automated SCI reports and look for opportunities to improve them.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • Employee development and performance management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices and other Supply Chain processes.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Skilled in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
  • Ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long rage goals.
  • Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Additional Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • WMS and handheld scanner experience.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel on an infrequent basis.
  • Must obtain Industrial Truck Certification through in house training.
  • Willingness to work overtime weekends and holidays as requested by manager.
  • PPE as required by each facility – refer to handbook for specific requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
