Supply Chain Material Expeditor

We are looking for a Supply Chain Material Expeditor to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Supply Chain Material Expeditor, you’ll ensure high levels of customer service by tracking and expediting products through the manufacturing process. You'll ensure part availability for the kitting production schedule, through inventory management and partnership with the manufacturing team. You must have strong math and organization skills, effective communication skills for partnership across teams, and be self-driven to achieve daily production expectations. This role will require local travel between campuses, including use of company-provided vehicles to transport inventory and is a key member of our Supply Chain team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Put safety first - always.
• Work as a team to drive our “people first” culture.
• Utilize JD Edwards to compare production schedule needs against on-hand inventory levels.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing teams to add expedited parts to the daily production plan, including the identification and physical hanging of parts for powder coating.
• Ensure parts are expedited through the transportation network and operate company-provided transportation to relocate inventory (as needed).
• Complete inventory cycle counts and JDE adjustments to ensure accuracy of the ERP.
• Communicate expedites with scheduling to maintain accuracy of inventory and order completion estimates.

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent along with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience is required for this role, if you have strong math, organization, and communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you!
