Supply Chain Manager

Canaan, CT

About the Position:

Responsible for Stock Inventory Ordering and Control, Atypical Purchase Orders, Asset Management, and Shipping/Receiving. Provide required inventory and maintain par levels for all Vending Machines, Marketing Materials, Client Services Materials, Office, Medical, and Housekeeping Supplies. Assist with new local and off-site program development by managing all FFE orders, shipments, and deliveries to new sites/locations.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Your Role:

  • Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Service Now software application that controls and monitors Asset Management and Purchase Orders. Input new FFE and IT assets into the system when they arrive. Submit, order and complete purchase orders for FFE, Inventory, and Operations on a regular basis.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of all stocked supplies and reorder items when they reach Par re-order level. Evaluate and adjust Par and order levels to meet the demands of the company.
  • Process and deliver supply orders submitted by Employees, send out invoices to Department Managers along with scheduled deliveries.
  • Ensure all incoming shipments received from UPS, USPS, FedEx, and other carriers are logged per company standards and all items are distributed to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Appropriately manage incoming client mail and packages according to established protocols
  • Accurately log and deliver all prescription and controlled medications to the Nursing Department following all procedures to maintain a proper chain of custody.
  • Work with the FFE Department to process FFE requests and orders, receive the items, and set up delivery, assembly, and placement of the items.
  • Evaluate stocked item usage data to negotiate prices with vendors as well as reorder printed materials to get the best bulk order quantity and prices possible for the company.
  • Gather feedback from employees to refine, adjust, and improve the function and effectiveness of the supply requisition process as well as stocked supplies.
  • Work with Mountainside Marketing Team in NYC to relay employee suggestions for the development of new materials and updating of current materials to meet the company's changing needs.
  • Receive and log all incoming FFE Items associated with satellite IOPs, separate the items by location, ensure that they are stored safely, and prep them for shipment. Input all items and their locations into Asset Management Software for tagging and tracking.
  • Responsible for managing assigned on-site and off-site special project initiatives under the direction of the Vice President of Facilities and Compliance and provide associated timelines with completion dates.
  • Coordinate deliveries with all departments to ensure client interruptions are minimized at all times.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate inventory list and regularly audit company assets located in the Storage Facility.
  • Participate in regular meetings with supervisor to ensure feedback loops are in place and effective.
  • Ensure Mountainside standards are continually elevated at every opportunity when safety products are selected.
  • Coordinate and execute required requested deliveries to all off-site locations as needed.
  • Seek out opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining Mountainside's high standards and quality of products
  • Responsible for all Special Purchases, ensuring said Departments Director or a PO is signed off before purchase and the product is billed, addressed, and delivered to the correct personnel.
  • Teach, coach, and mentor Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Asset Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree is a preferred.
  • Four years' previous experience in asset management and/or inventory control within a warehouse environment.

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $26.50 to $33.65 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
