Supply Chain Associate - Materials Management - 1St Shift

The Department of Pathology is seeking a Supply Chain Assocaite to support Supply Chain operations by assuring compliance with federal and state laws, regent, and university policies and procedures. Maintains inventory/equipment databases. Assists in the evaluation and procurement of the delivery of goods and services and with timecard management. This position is 100%-time, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift.

 Duties to include:

• Evaluates, procures, and audits the delivery of goods and services.
• Processes specimens for microbiologic analysis.
• Assists with inventory management. Maintains inventory/equipment databases. 
• May assist with financial analysis of supplier contracts and proposals.
• Interacts with internal and external customers, answering routine questions regarding Supply Chain processes and procedures.
• Performs clerical duties related to laboratory staffing and payroll.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some experience in a Supply Chain, clinical, or laboratory support setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with medical supplies and equipment, service, or professional agreements is desired.
• Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations, specifically those related to finance, purchasing, and payroll is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft Inventory Control, Contracts, and/or Purchasing modules
• Experience working as a controller in ELMS
