Job description

As a Supervisory Equal Opportunity Investigator at the GS-1860-13, you will be part of Phoenix District Office, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will provide guidance and direction to a staff of investigators, investigative support assistants and other support staff. You will also be responsible for the full range of enforcement functions associated with the investigative work of the unit.
Qualifications: For the GS-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes experience analyzing, researching, and evaluating employment discrimination laws, regulations, or policies; planning and establishing priorities; and conducting investigations of employment discrimination.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
