This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE).

You must meet the Basic Requirements listed in the Specialized Experience section to qualify for Supervisory Acquisition Analyst, as described below.
For GS-14 : Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Qualifying specialized experience for GS-14 includes:
- Provides leadership and direction in the areas of procurement planning, solicitation, negotiation and award of complex contract actions;
- Applies knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the procurement process to conduct competitive procurements using FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) with an emphasis in the area of services.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Federal Appropriations Law (FAL).
- Managing, assigning, reviewing and awarding complex services contracts to achieve agency goals;
- Making difficult decisions about contract-related matters;
- Working collaboratively and maintaining cooperative relationships with the program office and contractor community.
