SUMMARY: This position represents the Quality Inspection team through coaching, mentoring and aligning the inspection activities to include assignment, documenting and performing a range of inspection and final release acceptance activities on electronic components PCB/PCBA.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Represent the Quality Inspection Team in support of ensuring processes are followed, recorded and documented.
- Accurately and consistently apply IPC visual quality acceptability requirements for “In processing” and finished electronic assemblies. Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills.
- Record and analyze inspection results and data to track performance results and identify trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Engineers, Plant Supervisors, Plant Leads to support operational efficiencies and functional departments.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives for the Inspection Dept./ Quality.
- Apply 5S visual communication standards throughout work areas. Conduct OJT / training for Insp.
- Perform and or support internal or external audits.
- Performs other duties as assigned other duties as assigned.

- ISO-13485 Quality Program.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of ISO-13485 standard, 21CFR 820 Requirements and Quality Management System.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of verifiable work history and Inspection in electronics manufacturing.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to lead, support cross-functionally and meet end of month inspection requirements.
- Must pass IPC-A-610 training within six months and renew every two years.
- Able to read and understand work instructions, assembly drawings and routing cards.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all departments and job levels.
- ASQ CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate) preferred.
- Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and other inspection aids.
- Proficient use of computers and software including Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.
