Job Description:
The Clinical Supervisor (CS) is a key figure in supporting the Nurse Manager or Director in managing services within the unit. Responsibilities include managing the unit, supervising caregivers, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards. The CS maintains clinical competence and supports the unit's nursing care requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- ANCC recognized specialty certification upon hire or within a specified timeframe.
- Minimum 1-year recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital in a specialty area.
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Shared Governance experience.
