*This is a Remote Position*
Overview:
Serves as on-site Supervisor for the coding function and coding staff positioned at their local facility. Ensures that the local coding team is meeting all coding goals, following established policies and procedures, and facilitates cohesiveness between the local coders and the Ministry based Central Coding Management Department. Supports the Director of Central Coding Management in productivity monitoring, coder scheduling, coding edit/failed claims resolution, auditing and education, as well as ensuring that coding meets all regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Overview:

Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of coding experience in ICD-9/10-CM diagnosis/procedure coding and/or HCPCS/CPT procedure coding in an acute care setting.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Certifications: Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
- Other: Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
