Job Description
Global leader in contract manufacturing for medical device, diagnostics and drug delivery companies seeks a Facilities Supervisor. Santa Rosa, CA. Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000. 5%-10% travel.
Overview: responsible for managing the planning, build, construction, maintenance and repair of facilities equipment, building or machinery. Plans, budgets and schedules building or equipment modifications including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct facilities maintenance personnel (Custodial, Facilities Technicians)
- Coordinate and manage outside vendors (Lawn Care, HVAC, Water Treatment, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and correct electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problems on equipment, as needed
- Project Management on newly installed or refurbished equipment related to facilities
- Maintain a preventive maintenance program on all equipment related to facilities
- Assign preventative maintenance on all equipment related to facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or 4 Year Technical College Degree a plus
- 8+ years related experience preferably in Injection Molding
- Ability to read 2D prints and hydraulic, mechanical and electrical schematics
- Teach, train and mentor people
- Read, write and communicate in English
- MS Office skills
- Evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Design and implement effective training and development.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience.
- Experience within the medical device industry.
- Previous experience with lean manufacturing concepts.
