Job Summary
Primary job function will be Coordinate all licensing, delivery, and orientation functions related to new upfits, bearing in mind production schedules and customer expectations.
What will you do?
- Maximize customer satisfaction with the vehicle handoff experience.
- Maintain specialized delivery programs for key accounts.
- Develop the technical knowledge and customer service capabilities of delivery specialists.
- Develop and implement procedures to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Create efficient and cost effective weekly schedules for delivery specialists. This will include travel arrangements.
- Engage external (FMC, customer) and internal (account management, accounting, operations) stakeholders in a timely manner to procure and complete licensing and delivery paperwork as needed.
- Complete and document pre- and post-delivery phone calls, and escalate concerns to account management or warranty groups as appropriate.
- Manage and generate temporary registration permits as appropriate.
- Collect, review, reconcile, and log expense account information related to delivery services.
- Manage fuel cards and audit monthly usage reports.
- Report all shipping delays or cancelations in a detailed manner to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Log all relevant job-specific dates and notes into job files in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present weekly status reports.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in transportation and logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions. Ability to reprioritize in real time as variables change.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, and objectively evaluate performance of remote employees and external partners.
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem solving skills are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to interact and work with employees at all levels in the organization including executive management as well as customers.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to non-specialists.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
