The Baby CAT Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the program that has been designed to expeditiously provide services to children and families in the dependency system to expedite their reunification. The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the master's prepared clinicians, the intensive case managers, and peer mentors and for monitoring the facilitation of client offered group therapy.

The Baby CAT Supervisor will lead the discussion that will identify the needs and resources for the family and will establish creative and effective safety and treatment plans. The BabyCAT Supervisor will work in collaboration with the dependency case management supervisor and dependency case manager, the school liaisons, and other community providers to review the treatment plan progress alongside the current case plan compliance. The BabyCAT Supervisor will engage in a shared decision-making process when approving increased visitation for the children and families who are currently in out of home care. The BabyCAT Supervisor will also work alongside the Assistant Director of Child Safety and will incorporate the reunification policy into the staffings when reunification is imminent. The BabyCAT supervisor will report to the Director of Reunification and Support and will be responsible for participating in and the implementation of the on-call schedule. The BabyCAT supervisor will be responsible for the monitoring and program performance for contractual performance measures and for the provider's billable productivity requirements.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must hold at least a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related area of study from an accredited university. Minimum of three years' relevant clinical experience and one-two years' supervisory experience required.
  2. Experience with child welfare, early childhood education or children's mental health preferred. Knowledge of child development, including physical, mental, emotional and cultural issues preferred.
