The Sunshine Center is a non-profit organization that provides Supervised Visitation, Parenting Classes, Infant Supply Pantry, and a Christmas Assistance Program.
Position Summary: The Supervised Visitation Monitor oversees and promotes the safety and welfare of children visiting their non-custodial parent due to high conflict or high-risk situations between custodial and non-custodial parties. The Monitor performs these duties in accordance with the rules and policies established by the Board of Directors of The Sunshine Center. The position will report to the Executive Director. Part-time hours could range between 20-30 hours per week depending on case load and additional duties. Visitations can go past our opening hours some evenings, (8 am-4 pm). You must have a flexible schedule to accommodate that.
Duties include:
- Arrange supervised visits by: Scheduling and conducting intake interviews for all parties, collecting intake fees and fee for visits, coordinating availability for all parties, notification of visitation dates and times to all parties and creating and maintaining updated and accurate Supervised Visitation case files
- Help create, maintain and update the Supervised Visitation monthly calendar as needed and provide copies to Executive Director and other Visitation Monitors.
- Maintain and update a listing of all Supervised Visitation clients and contact information.
- Collect and document all money collected for supervised visits.
- Provide copies of observation notes/reports to attorneys or court officials when requested.
- Perform other duties as required in the daily operation of The Sunshine Center or as assigned by the Executive Director.
