POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for qualified individual who has the experience and qualifications to act in the capacity of a combination role, Superintendent/QCM/SSHO This individual provides daily onsite oversight and direct day-to-day management and supervision of construction activities, subcontractors, quality, and safety. The individual must ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract documents, period of performance, and within budget.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
In depth understanding of various construction projects with an emphasis on renovation and repair (SRM) projects. Minimum of 10-years of equivalent experience managing construction projects and 5-years of recent experience acting in a similar capacity.

Supervision Received: Reports directly to the Project and/or Program Manager for assigned project(s).
Supervision Exercised: Supervises and monitors work performance of project staff and craft personnel.
Interface Required: Interfaces with client, teaming partners and/or subcontractors, co-workers, management, suppliers and vendors, local/state/federal regulatory personnel/agencies and the general public.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: It is primarily anticipated that that this position will be in field on construction sites that may be indoors or outdoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to heavy, requiring hearing protection in some circumstances. Sites may require traversing uneven terrain and navigating obstacles. When not in the field, employee may be exposed to construction/environmental hazards, extreme weather conditions, and loud noise.

- Demonstrated knowledge of construction means and methods
- In depth knowledge and ability to read prints, plans, schedules, inspections
- Experience working on projects for federal agencies
- Strong familiarity and implementation of USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 1910/1926
- Understanding of USACE Construction Quality Management processes and procedures
- Required Certifications: USACE CQM and OSHA 30
- Preferred Certifications: PMP, DBIA, CCM, AIC, Procore
- Mechanical and HVAC Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Initiation and Planning: project planning, schedule development, develop scopes of work for subcontracts, material procurement planning.
- Project Execution: manage subcontractors/consultants, material tracking, site utilization, coordination, schedule implementation, develop look ahead schedules, conduct required meetings, contract deliverables, inspections, project communication, project reporting, client interactions.
- Quality Control: implementation of quality control requirements, procedures, and documentation. Stop work that is non-conforming with the project requirements and ensure corrective measures are taken.
- Safety: adherence and implementation of Aleut's standards of safety and project specific project safety requirements; ensuring that required reports and documents are completed. Any work being performed in an unsafe manner must be stopped immediately and all incidents reported.
- Project Completion: ensure that contract requirements for project inspections, acceptance, commissioning, completion are adhered to ensure time contract completion.
- Take necessary steps and actions to minimize project risks.
- Manage and supervise assigned staff.
- Provide interim and annual reviews of assigned staff.
- Manage and execute single or multiple projects in different phases of construction.
- Work with other departments within the company and business units as required.
- Perform duties, responsibilities, assigned tasks with minimal direction or oversight.
