The Role
Sundae is initiating its buildout of its Post Closing Department which is tasked with ensuring successful loan trades with our secondary market partners and will conduct complete audits of all loan files and clear all stipulations as provided by our investors. This role will be the first hire in our Post Closing Department. This is an opportunity to work with a fast-paced team that values candor, authenticity, and creativity, while experiencing significant personal and professional growth. As a Post Closing Specialist, you will work cross functionally with the loan origination and capital markets teams. The position requires an individual that is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable. The right candidate must possess the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple files at once.
Key Responsibilities
- New loan set-up process including uploading loan files to Loan Investor and Loan Servicer portals
- Monitor weekly condition reports from Loan Investors
- Working with internal staff and external parties to obtain the needed documentation to cure/resolve all items that affect the salability of the loan in a timely manner
- Maintain and manage a pipeline report to ensure all loan documents shipped are either conditioned or purchased in a timely manner
- Scanning, dividing, and organizing complex loan packages into individual documents and shipping to Loan Investors
- Assist borrowers/vendors with servicing needs such as loan payoffs, loan payments, loan extensions, & hazard insurance.

Prior Experience and Education
- Notary Public or willing to become licensed after joining
- High school diploma or degree from an accredited college or university
- One year of work experience as a title processor/settlement processor (recommended)
- Prior experience utilizing Salesforce (recommended)
Location
- Position is fully remote with priority given to locally based San Francisco North Bay candidates. For local candidates, travel to pick up documents will be required 2-3 times per week in Benicia, CA.
Compensation & Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000
- Competitive benefits package with 100% paid premiums for employee and 80% for dependents
