THIS IS A PART-TIME SUMMER POSITION AND WILL END BY 8/11/2024.

Average hours will be less than 30 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate during peak business times/needs.

Under the direction of the SYEP Lead Program Coordinator, The SYEP Program Coordinator will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hamilton County Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) along with the Deputy County Mayor of Education and Workforce Development, and Deputy Director of Community Development. This includes coordinating with local organizations and businesses to identify job opportunities, screening and matching students with appropriate job placements, providing job training and support to students throughout their employment term, and tracking program outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Education Administration, Public Administration, or in a similar field.

Must hold a valid state of Tennessee teaching certification and possess a valid driver’s license.
