Requirements:
- Basic interpersonal skills with professionalism
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Valid Driver’s License issued by the state of residency
- Valid motor vehicle insurance
- Must be 18 years of age by start of employment
We offer seasonal positions working with our road maintenance and traffic departments. This is a temporary seasonal position from May 2024 through August 2024.
The temporary seasonal employee is responsible for performing a variety of summer highway maintenance general road work.
Job Duties (Summary):
- Cutting weeds
- Trimming trees
- Mowing grass
- Assists striping crew
- Flagger and traffic control
- Pavement marking activities
- Sign inventory
- Must work in inclement weather
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Other duties as assigned
