Pay: $19.80 per hour (or current rate of pay)

• July 15-August 1

Elementary School Location: Cradock Elementary School and Waterview Elementary School
Middle and High School Location: I.C. Norcom High School
Training Date: Session 1: June 20,2024 - 9:00 AM - 3:00PM
Session 2: July 11,2024 - 9:00 AM - 3:00PM
Hours:
Elementary School (Waterview Elementary) 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM /(Cradock Elementary) 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Middle School 7:00 AM -12:00 PM
High School 6:45 AM -11:45 AM
Essential Duties:Conducting surveillance of school buildings, grounds and activities; ensuring the security of the school; enforcing established rules and regulations.

1. Patrols hallways, stairwells, restrooms and parking area;
2. Supervises the loading and unloading of buses;
3. Maintains security during lunch periods;
4. Provides security during sports events and other activities;
5. When requested and available will accompany bookkeeper/treasurer, in the bookkeeper/treasurers vehicle to make a bank deposit;
6. Checks all windows, doors and entrances of building to make certain they are secured;
7. Prevents admittance of unauthorized persons to the premises;
8. Intervene and physically restrain during altercations as necessary;
9. Investigates unusual conditions or disturbances;
10. Investigates assaults, larcenies and general student complaints;
11. Secures petitions and warrants for offenses that occur on school property;
12. Testifies in court as required;
13. Opens and closes building;
14. Performs related tasks as required.
