The Performance Reporting and Automation Intern will support the Performance Management and Engineering team at RWE Clean Energy. The intern is responsible for projects related to the development and management of performance analytics and reporting tools and their associated infrastructure. The goal for the intern is to understand the performance of RWECE's portfolio of assets and to support projects that integrate, process, and effectively use the datasets these assets provide.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize historical asset data to conduct both retrospective and predictive analytics
- Develop and generate reports focused on asset performance
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and upkeep of statistical models and Automation tools
- Acquire knowledge about renewable energy systems as part of your learning and growth within the role
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited US university program, pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, or environmental studies
- Proficiency in Python or R programming languages, with a preference for familiarity with SQL
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy systems and a strong desire to contribute to this field
- Adept at working both autonomously and collaboratively with diverse professional teams
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with effective organizational skills
This is a full-time 12-week summer internship starting at the end of May in either our Chicago, IL or Austin, TX office.
