SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: 1. Establish key objectives for classes2. Implement curriculum for courses in the upward bound program that are in alignment with state and local curriculum requirements and areas of focus 3. Develop a syllabus for the 6-week summer program that outlines topics that will be explored and lists due dates for assignments and exams4. Create lesson plans, that describe how the information will be presented 5. Participate as a chaperone at educational events 6. Give lectures and organize activities to present material and deepen understanding of coursework7. Provide academic feedback and counseling to participants and parents 8. Writes, administers, and grades examinations that test students’ knowledge9. Record students’ attendance and grades10.
