Summer Camp - School Age Staff

```Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for young children
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Foster early literacy skills through storytelling, reading, and language activities
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and implement them in the classroom

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices
- Experience working in a classroom setting with young children
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
- Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations
- Experience with tutoring or providing additional support to students
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and safety guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.41 - $18.03 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
