STEAM Camp Instructor – STEAM Camp (Ages 6-11)
Job Description: This is a day camp leadership role. Candidates should have experience working with and leading children. Possess a willingness to learn and grow with our camp training environment. Incumbent will work alongside the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Camp Director to provide a safe, educational and fun camp environment.
Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old by July 1, 2024
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Duration: Summer Position – July 1 to August 16 (7 weeks, Mon-Fri)
Hours: 35 Hours per week
Day Camp Group Leader/Head Counselor – Discovery Camp (ages 4-12)
Job Description: (AKA “Head Counselor”) We are looking for exceptional role models to lead our campers as well as staff during our Summer Camp programs. Candidates should have experience in working with and leading children, as well as experience supervising colleagues, and a willingness to learn and grow with our camp training environment. Group Leaders take a large responsibility for the safety, health and wellbeing of our campers and staff throughout the day. Our Professional Role Models must have an outgoing personality and must show a record of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility and taking the initiative.

Junior Camp Counselor – Kinder Camp (ages 3-5)
Job Description: We are looking for exceptional role models for our summer programs. The Junior Camp Counselor is responsible for providing direct leadership to groups of children in various formats and activities. This includes organizing and motivating the children during their time at the YMCA and at off-site trips, and maintaining a safe and fun day camp environment. Must adhere to the Y’s four core values at all times (caring, honesty, respect and responsibility).

Hourly Rate: $16.50
Duration: Summer Position – July 1 - August 16 (7 weeks, Mon-Fri)
