Summer Camp Helpers at Stillmeadow provide care and education to children during the Summer. Our program promotes the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of the children in our care. Helpers attend field trips and the pool, set up splash day activities, assist with meals and snacks, and PLAY! Summer Camp will start Monday, June 10 and end Tuesday, August 20. Training and on-boarding can be done virtually- perfect for college students!
Responsibilities as a Summer Camp Helper include:
-Supervising children- supervision is defined as the ability to see, hear, assess, and direct children at all times.
-Setting up splash day activities, attending field trips and the pool to help counselors with the children in their care, assisting with meals and snack time.
-Building positive relationships!
Qualifications:
-At least a High School Diploma
-Must be 18 years of age.
-Experience with children a plus but not required-great for college students!
-As mandated by the Department of Human Services, all employees at childcare centers must obtain 4 childcare clearances, and new employees must provide proof of a completed health physical and TB test to begin employment.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Pay rate determined by education and years of experience with children.
