Job Summary/Basic Function
Under the direction of the Culinary Arts Manager, a Summer Camp Baker will prepare culturally appropriate baked goods for the campers. If you love baking or want to learn a new skill while making friends from all over the world, join us this summer.
You will:

- Produce all baked goods for the Village/Camp in a timely manner as directed by the Summer Camp Chef
- Maintain all baking equipment and areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Carry out food preparation tasks as requested by the Summer Camp Chef
- Assist the Summer Camp Chef with sourcing and utilizing recipes for culturally appropriate ethnic baked goods
- Assist with general kitchen cleanup as directed by the Summer Camp Chef

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in a bakery, baking in an institutional kitchen or equivalent experience
- Interest in preparing ethnic foods
- Willingness to work evening or night shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with quantity cooking at a camp, resort, or public or private institution
- Oral proficiency in the target language
- Previous Concordia Language Villages or camping experience
