Primary Roles:
- Provide engaging activities and games for elementary school students
- Supervise and support students
- Supervise children
- Ensure that materials are ready for class time
Example Daily Schedule:
Summer Camp will offer enrichment classes like the way Pinecrest does during the school year (or specials -- as other schools may call them). The enrichment teacher would be teaching a topic-specific class (i.e. art) across different groups of classroom students in different intervals of time.
Below is an example schedule of what a camp day from an art schedule could look like (including classes & breaks). This is only an example, and would not be your schedule.
10:00-10:20- Preschool
10:30- 11:00- K-6 Class
11:10-11:40- K-6 Class
11:50-11:20- K-6 Class
11:30-12:00- K-6 Class
12:10-12:40- K-6 Class
12:50-1:20- Clean up time
*It is asked for the staff member to come in 20 minutes prior to their first class, and staff is able to leave for the day after their last class is complete.
Camp dates & schedules:
This summer, Pinecrest Pavilion will operate a full-day camp with 1-week sessions across the summer months (June 17-August 9).
When creating the schedule, preference will be given to staff who can work more rather than less. Each individual camp session will have the same students daily (ex: students enrolled in Session 2 will be the same students we will see every day, full-day, of that 2-week camp session).
Camp size:
Maximum class size of 15 students.

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
