Our interns work alongside experienced accountants and analysts to solve real problems and offer insights that benefit society through improving our products and services. In addition to being a contributor on their team, interns at Koch Companies explore our unique Principle-Based Management culture, partner with interns from other disciplines on case studies, learn key business concepts and Koch mental models, and engage with leaders to learn more about business transformation, our work in society, and more. These are just a few key aspects of our internship program.

Investment Operations Intern

• Take initiative as an investor relations lead, including managing the group's inbox and assist with daily ad-hoc requests to the investment managers; provide effective and concise communication.
• Assist with investment onboarding - involving working through the completion of subscription agreements for new investments and keep deals on track for their projective timeline. Liaison between legal, tax and CFO organizations.
• Leverage your technology acumen and familiarize yourself with new systems that we implement
• Partner with our internal tax and legal teams for amendment updates and regulatory reporting

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Eligible for full-time employment no later than summer 2025
• Enrolled in a degree, certificate program, or workforce training program related to Accounting
• Able to work in the US without sponsorship
• Available to work onsite in our headquarter office, located in Wichita, KS year round

What will Put You Ahead

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong critical and entrepreneurial thinking skills
• Initiative, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning
• Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding skills such as PowerBI, Alteryx, or Tableau
