Position Title: Suites Manager - University of Wisconsin Madison

Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Manager of Suites is responsible for working with Director of Premium to oversee the team in all Suites operations at Kohl Center and Camp Randall and ensuring high standards of the guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader. A great coach who can get the best out of people and continually drive operational performance and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing daily food and beverage operations of all Suites at Kohl Center and Camp Randall leading up to and during all events
* Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
* Ensures all areas have proper displays and merchandise
* Ensures assigned areas are fully stocked and are ready for operation
* Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
* Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs
* Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
* Comply with all health and safety regulations within Levy & State standards
* Builds and maintains strong relationships, and obtains feedback with clients, guests, and Levy team members
* Achieves assigned budget, sales, and cost goals
* Effectively verifies all opening and closing inventories if applicable
* Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
* Forecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targets
* Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
* Assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, developing and appraising talented personnel
* Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies
* Other responsibilities, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail
* Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
* High level of computer literacy
* Understanding of financial concepts
* Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
