Seeking a highly reliable, conscientious, friendly team player for a full-time (26-28 hours per week) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant position in our Williamsville office. Surgical experience preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: Typically 26-28 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Prepare patients for diagnosis and treatment, ensuring their comfort
- Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures
- Sterilization of instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms for surgical procedures
- Perform post-operative patient care
- Document patient medical and dental history and treatment notes in patient's clinical chart
- Take x-rays and iCat scans, as needed
- Clean and stock operatories
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude and team player
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods preferred
- Good computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
