Sugar Bulk Loader

Hiring for Bulk Sugar Loader Position in Sparta, NJ. 

Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will be responsible for transloading of granulated sugar from rail hopper cars into truck trailers. Duties will include positioning the cars over the unloading spot, using pneumatic tools to open the rail hopper grates, and monitoring the flow of sugar through the auger system. Duties will also include climbing on top of truck trailers in order to break cable seals, opening hatches, positioning loading socks, and closing/sealing hatches once loading is complete. Operators may also be required to hook up trailers and drive trucks to position trailers throughout the yard. A CDL is not required but some experience with truck rigging is preferable. All training will be done on-site and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Dependable individuals with strong work ethics and a clean work history.
• Must be willing to work in all environments including outdoors.
• Must be able to climb on top of railcars and trailers on a regular basis.
• Subject to Background Check, Pre-Employment Physical, as well as Pre-Employment
• Drug/Alcohol Test.
• Must live within a reasonable distance of Sparta, NJ.
• Work Schedule is generally Mon-Sat 07:00-15:00 but mid-week off day is flexible; must
• be available Saturday.
• No experience is required, but experience truck hostling is preferred.
