Job Duties

A Field Service Technician typically:

• Locates Reinforcement in concrete using non-destructive testing through ground penetrating radar.
• Writing technician reports to explain to the clients the locations of Utilities: Sewer, Water, Gas, Electric, Rebar, Post Tension Cables and Live Conduit.
• Maintaining client relationships by providing high quality customer service.
• Creating and maintaining relationships with on-site crews.
• Oversee the collection of data using a variety of highly technical instruments on various project sights.
• Responsible for the daily safe and efficient operation of Nondestructive Testing (NDT) equipment.

Worker Specifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering/construction fundamentals or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of apple products; i.e. Pages, Numbers, etc.
• Experience reading civil utility maps, schematics and diagrams
• Dependable and reliable
• Must be comfortable working outdoors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus opportunities
