Job Responsibilities:
- Step into a classroom and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
- Consistent flexibility to be present at work when needed upon short notice (this includes part-day and full-day availability)
- Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
- Maintain professional appearance and communication with school community members
- Complete all Ivybrook and state licensing requirements for paperwork and training
- Commitment to continuing professional development and maintenance of Ivybrook and state licensing required training and documentation
- Support and ensure the safety and well-being of children under care and supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of all students and family
Job Requirements
Priority given to those with a Bachelors or Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or have their education degree within the first year of employment. Previous experience at a public, private or licensed school preferred.
