Qualifications
JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for providing Food & Beverage service in assigned food beverage outlet (from setup to breakdown) including cashier functions in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Other duties as required.
- Greets guests according to standards.
- Explains menu items to guests, takes orders, serve beverage and snacks to guests.
- Retrieves from the kitchen and serves food and/ or drinks orders and other miscellaneous beverage orders in an upbeat and timely fashion.
- Follow-up with guest for any additional need within 2 minutes of serving entrée and again throughout the meal.
- Prepares checks, collects payment and follows cashiering procedures in a timely fashion.
- Assist bussers with clearing tables (pre-bus) during and after service.
- Sets tables following procedures.
- Sets up work area and table (at station) with supplies.
- Clears tables and sets up for new guest to standard.
- Observes all department and hotel standards for the outlet.
- Ensures tables are set according to standards for each new guest.
- Collects dirty glasses, breaks down service area.
- Retrieves and replenishes linen, supplies, and incidentals as needed and stores as directed.
- Brings items to and from kitchen “full hands-in, full hands-out”
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in full service, high quality restaurant and/ or a bar, lounge or nightclub.
- 2 to 4 years experience in a related area and / or a combination of experience & education that provides the skills required for this position.
- Knowledge of MICROS system
- Fluent in English.
DESIRABLE:
- High school graduate.
- Fluent in another language a plus.

- Ability to offer fine dining service in accordance with LPM standards.
- Must show an outgoing personality, a positive attitude, and strong initiative.
- Must be able to handle pressure, interact with people and show good judgment.
- Must follow LPM grooming standards.
- Ability to handle guests’ needs.
Self-Efficacy
- Knowledge of drinks, glassware, food and basic cooking skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Capable of performing simple arithmetic computations, work quickly and meet deadline, with humor.
- Familiarity with continental, American and French cuisine.
